Con la gran colaboración de los vecinos, desde la Planta Recicladora de Residuos que la Municipalidad posee en calle Chubut, se vendieron 4.040 kg. de cartón prensado y 19.510 kg. de vidrio, haciendo un total de 23.550 kg.
Merced al trabajo de la separación domiciliaria de residuos y del personal municipal, por la venta del material se obtuvieron $ 33.857, correspondiendo de ese total $ 20.200 a cartón y $ 13.657 a vidrio.
Aparte del dinero recaudado que se reinvertirá en la intensificación del Programa “Los Lunes Reciclamos”, la importancia de la acción está dada porque se evitó que esas casi 24 toneladas de residuos tuvieran al basural como depósito final.
